Hi I'm Angela. I live on Oahu aka Hawaii. Born & raised. I'm 15 but I have the behavior of a 5 year old. I love my guitar like it was the brother I never had & I like stawberries. One day I want to be a successful musician or an artist. If not I'll settle for taking care of animals. I dream of getting a chinchilla & naming it Bear. Music, Art, & Writing has always fascinated me. Maybe it's your turn.

This is Koko. She was a gorilla who astoundingly enough understood and could use  American sign language. She used sign language to ask her trainer for a cat.  She was fond of cats, and her first kitten was a tailless grey cat who she named All Ball. She was a gentle mother and treated All Ball like her own baby.
Unfortunately, All Ball escaped the gorilla cage and was hit by a car.
Koko’s trainer told her what had happened. When asked if she wanted to talk about her cat, Koko signed “Cry.” When asked what happened to her kitty Koko signed “Sleep cat.”
When shown a picture of a kitten that looked like All Ball, Koko signed “Cry, sad, frown.”
When Koko was left alone, people could hear whimpers from her cage.

…..
sad forever
never loving anything again
just cry

I’ve been looking forward to sleep all week yet, here I am eyes wide open in front of this darn computer screen. Oh goodness. What has become of me?

Text

So, once upon a time a girl moved from the city to the more country-side of this little island called Oahu. She was very sad. She didn’t think she’d find anyone as cool as her friends. She felt very lonely. One day a boy talked to her. They had all of their classes together. They got along quite well. She started to like him. He was close to what she was used to. They talked a lot. He seemed to like her as a friend. She gave up. The next school year, they had no classes together. It made her sad but she liked him still. She couldn’t get over him. Then she had a “Discomfort Project” for her english class where she had to put herself in a situation or scenario that put her out of her comfort zone. She decided to tell him how she felt for him. She told him. He liked her too. Since last year. They started dating. At first it was really weird. Then they realized how much they really had in common. They agreed on everything and had the same moral values. They were always at peace. Never a single fight or argument. They fell in love. Deeper everyday. Then after their first month as a couple, he got the news that he was moving. Far away. Thousands of miles away on the bigger chunk of land, specifically Missouri. She was heartbroken. He was afraid. They cried. They both questioned what would happen to “them”. He wanted a long distance relationship. He was her first boyfriend. He would be gone for two years. She made him a card reassuring him that she’d wait for him. After a few months, he finally left her. On the plane, he read the letter and looked at the photo she gave to him. They looked so happy. He smiled as a tear rolled down his cheek. He read her letter after they said their goodnights on the phone. Then he’d pray to God to keep their relationship as happy as always. Every night, he’d tuck in the stuffed animals she’d won for him on their first date and went to bed. She would lie awake at night after they’d said their goodnights and miss him. She loved him so much. Last week, the day after Valentine’s day, he started at his new school and rejected any girl that came his way. He told them how great his girlfriend was.

I’m his grateful girlfriend. This is still the beginning. This story isn’t near its end.
